TechEd Atlanta, Here I come!

Saturday, May 14, 2011
I'm writing this from SFO waiting for taxi clearance to ATL. My bags are (hopefully) safely onboard the plane with me.

It's been a very busy week closing out projects and getting things ready for Microsoft TechEd 2011. I'll be hosting the 4th annual UC Roundtable on Wednesday and I've been busily sending out RSVP info to attendees. This year I have 36 people confirmed - up from 24 at last year's TechEd in New Orleans. Joining forces with the Microsoft Certified Masters (MCM) program this year promises to make this a memorable event. If you're joining us, be sure to bring your Exchange/Lync questions and stories.

As usual, I'll be blogging throughout the week about the sessions, the venue, the people, The Krewe, and all things TechEd. It's a week of technical debauchery. I hope you're either here with me in Atlanta, or can at least follow me here on the EXPTA {blog}. I'm also on Twitter @expta with real-time updates. I'll be attending a wide swath of Microsoft sessions, including Exchange, Lync, Hyper-V, System Center, and Windows Server.

I'm also attending some invitation-only break-out sessions, including an SEO workshop held by my MVP lead, Garth O'Brien, and an exclusive TechEd feedback panel with the Microsoft TechEd team.

Microsoft says I'll have a special space set up for me in the "Blogger Lounge" that I'll be using to write posts from. Look for my picture there and if you see me out and about, stop and say Hi! I'd love to hear from you.
